I looked in a LOT of different coffee machines before deciding on this unit. Buying a coffee maker needs to be one of the hardest things to buy. The problems come around because everyone has a different take on what coffee is supposed to taste like and unfortunately some of them are dead wrong. The most important thing for anyone that truly enjoys coffee the way it’s supposed to be made is the fact that water heats up to a sufficient temperature (greater than 190 levels). This allows for the very best flavor to be extracted with the coffee ground without that nasty taste that you get if your temperature is too low. Since the majority people don’t know that you never find that information in most reviews. I found that facts in the good reviews with this Cuisinart CHW-12 Coffee Plus Programmable Coffee maker and it had an overall rating of 4.5 right at that moment that I purchased Cuisinart CHW-12 Coffee Plus Programmable Coffee maker but I was a bit concerned with some of the bad critiques. They pointed to things including the carafe leaking, the hot water dispenser side leaking or never functioning correctly, bad tasting normal water, etc. Well, I’m happy in order to report that I have never seen any of these complications.
